The New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium (NMNEC) announces that Ellen Trabka, MSN, RN, AHN-BC, RN–BSN Advisory Member of the NMNEC Leadership Council, will conclude her service effective March 1, 2026, after six years of dedicated leadership.
In her resignation letter, Ellen expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to collaborate with nursing leaders across New Mexico. She shared that participating in the Council’s shared problem-solving, advocacy, and mutual support—particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic—was among the most meaningful aspects of her service.
Ellen’s insights from an RN-BSN program perspective have been invaluable to NMNEC and greatly appreciated.
NMNEC extends their sincere gratitude to Ellen for her commitment and contributions to advancing nursing education in New Mexico and wishes her continued success at Northern New Mexico College.
