NMNEC congratulates Dr. Lisa Leiding, faculty member at Santa Fe Community College, on being recognized as a “250 Flags” honoree, a statewide initiative celebrating individuals who exemplify service, leadership, and dedication to their communities.
Featured in the Albuquerque Journal on June 16, 2026, Dr. Leiding was honored for her more than three decades of service to New Mexico through nursing, military service, emergency medicine, and nursing education. Her commitment to honoring the nursing profession was also recognized through her recent project commemorating military nurses buried at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
We are proud to celebrate Dr. Leiding’s outstanding contributions to healthcare, nursing education, and service across New Mexico.
