
The New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium (NMNEC) is proud to recognize Joline Lowe, MSN, RN, of Western New Mexico University as the recipient of the 2026–2027 Anita Reinhardt NMNEC Faculty Endowment Teaching Award.
This award honors nursing faculty who demonstrate excellence in advancing the NMNEC statewide concept-based curriculum through innovative teaching and contributions to student success. Lowe was selected for her engaging, hands-on learning activities that strengthen clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and collaboration among nursing students. Her innovative approaches, including interactive case-based learning and medication reconciliation simulations, help prepare students for real-world nursing practice while supporting accessible pathways into nursing education across New Mexico.
NMNEC congratulates Joline Lowe on this well-deserved recognition and thanks her for her dedication to nursing education and the future nursing workforce of New Mexico.
