The New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium (NMNEC) Leadership Council approved new bylaws today (08/13/2025) as part of the process of moving NMNEC toward formal non-profit status.

These bylaws reflect NMNEC’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and sustainability as we continue our mission of advancing accessible, high-quality nursing education across New Mexico. The revisions strengthen NMNEC’s organizational foundation, clarify governance roles, and prepare the Consortium for the responsibilities and opportunities that come with non-profit designation.

The full text of the newly adopted bylaws is now available for NMNEC faculty through the Faculty Login, under the Bylaws folder. We encourage all faculty to review them and stay informed about this important milestone in NMNEC’s growth.
