On June 9, 2021 Dr. Anita Reinhardt announced her plans to resign from her position on the NMNEC Leadership Council, thus leaving an open position for the NMNEC Leadership Council BSN Program. However, Dr. Reinhardt has graciously offered to remain on the Council until the position is filled.

Dr. Reinhardt has been a valued member of the NMNEC Leadership Council since February 2017 and has been actively involved with NMNEC since its inception in 2009. During her tenure, Dr. Reinhardt has served on numerous committees, and presented posters on the consortium at various conferences, including AACN, WIN and NMNEC Statewide Meetings. Anita’s work as a nurse educator and her love of NMNEC served as the inspiration for the establishment of an endowment named in her honor – the Anita Reinhardt NMNEC Endowment. This endowment funds the Anita Reinhardt NMNEC Faculty Teaching Award which supports faculty teaching within the NMNEC curriculum by providing funding for professional development. Anita has provided leadership, guidance, expertise, vast knowledge and humor to the NMNEC community. We appreciate all of Dr. Reinhardt’s contributions to NMNEC. She will be missed.
