The New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium (NMNEC) is seeking nominations for the following vacant positions on the NMNEC Leadership Council:
Current Vacancies
- University BSN Program Member [Voting]
- Eligibility: Faculty from NMNEC University BSN programs not currently represented, specifically UNM-Albuquerque.
- Community College ADN Program Member [Voting]
- Eligibility: Faculty from NMNEC community college ADN programs not currently represented (eligible programs: CCC, CNM, LCC, MCC, UNM-Valencia).
- Urban Clinical Partner Advisory Member [Non-voting]
- Eligibility: Representatives of urban clinical organizations in Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe.
- Rural Clinical Partner Advisory Member [Non-voting]
- Eligibility: Representatives of rural clinical organizations in communities not eligible for the Urban Clinical Partner position.
Nomination Process
- Voting Members: Nominations must be made by faculty from NMNEC Curriculum Member programs, including self-nominations.
- Advisory Members: Nominations can be made by anyone, including self-nominations.
- For Nominations by Others: To nominate someone else, email the nominee’s name and email address to staff@nmnec.org. NMNEC will send a nomination statement form to the proposed nominee; the completed form will confirm their acceptance of the nomination.
- For Self-Nominations: If you are nominating yourself, please complete the nomination statement form and email it directly to staff@nmnec.org.
- First Consideration Date: All nominations should be submitted by the end of the day on October 21, 2024.
- Nomination statement forms will be reviewed approved by the NMNEC Leadership Council and then voted on by NMNEC Curriculum Member programs.
